Leadership training course

A leadership training course grounded in reality

A leadership training course with Cronquist Consult is intensive, practical and built on action learning. Participants practise leadership in situations that resemble their own working day — and go home with something they can use on Monday morning.

Leadership training course: Understand, Practise, Apply, Create Results

Who is the course for?

  • New middle managers who have been given responsibility faster than training.
  • Experienced leaders who lack a shared language with the rest of the leadership team.
  • Team leaders, project managers and supervisors with day-to-day operational responsibility.
  • Whole leadership teams of typically 8–12 people from the same organisation.

What you learn on the course

  • Setting direction and making it understandable for those who have to deliver.
  • Giving and receiving feedback in a way that changes behaviour, not just the mood.
  • Leading a team through tasks where the conditions change along the way.
  • Understanding differences within the team — including with JTI as a shared language.
  • Keeping a cool head and making decisions when the pressure rises.

From theory to action — action learning

We use action learning because leadership is not learned by reading about it. Participants are given tasks in which they have to lead real people towards a real goal, and where it is safe to fail. Afterwards we reflect systematically: what happened, why, and what will you do differently next time?

How a leadership training course can be structured

  1. 1Residential trainingAn intensive hands-on course where leadership under pressure is practised from the very first hour.
  2. 2Process managementTraining in managing meetings, processes and tasks with many stakeholders.
  3. 3Customer orientationA deep dive into how leadership decisions are experienced by the customer.
  4. 4Personal impactPersonal leadership: presence, credibility and your own blind spots.

Leadership training for a whole organisation

We run the course in-house for one or more groups at a time. The content is adapted to the sector and to the tasks the leaders actually face, and the organisation gains a shared leadership language instead of eight different course experiences.

Leadership under pressure

Part of our experience comes from leadership in war and disaster zones, where decisions have to be made on incomplete information. We use that experience to train leaders to keep the overview, prioritise and communicate clearly when there is no time to do it neatly.

What does a leadership training course cost?

The price depends on the number of participants, the number of modules and the setting. We provide a no-obligation quote with an open calculation, so you can see what goes to teaching, catering and facilities.

Frequently asked questions

How long does a leadership training course take?
A single module can be run as a 30-hour residential course. A complete programme typically runs over six months to a year with four to six modules.
How many people can take part?
A leadership group is typically 8–12 people. If more need to take part, we run several groups with the same basic structure.
What is the difference between a leadership training course and leadership development?
The leadership training course is the specific course. Leadership development is the overall programme for the organisation’s leaders, in which the course is one element among several.
Can the course be held at our premises?
Yes. We run courses in-house at the organisation, in our own settings and outdoors — and abroad through OLTC.
