Inner Readiness
Ready to be ready
How do you mobilise the best of yourself when it really matters?
Inner Readiness is the capacity built over time to consciously mobilise your mental, emotional and practical resources when the situation demands it.
It is not about performing at maximum intensity all the time. It is about having the capacity and readiness to step up when it matters – and to step down again afterwards.
Inner Readiness is not a contingency plan. It is the human capacity to respond when the plan is no longer enough.
Human capacity drives business performance.

It starts from within
Strategies, plans and tools do not create results on their own. People do – when they can maintain clarity, mobilise their resources and act when reality demands more than usual.
CLARITY
See the situation as it is.
CALM
Create space between stimulus and action.
COURAGE
Act even when the outcome is uncertain.
DECISIVE ACTION
Turn the decision into concrete action.
Leadership from within is not vague self-development.
It is operational resilience.

HIGH PERFORMANCE PATTERN
Your personal code for accessing that capacity
A High Performance Pattern describes the recurring way in which you mobilise yourself and act when you are at your best under demanding circumstances.

PRE-FLIGHT
Am I ready?
Mental and emotional preparation before action.
WALK-AROUND
What is reality telling me?
See, listen and sense what the KPIs do not show – including mood, unspoken concerns, collaboration and energy.
AUTOPILOT OFF
Have conditions changed?
Habits and standard responses work under familiar conditions. When circumstances change, conscious assessment and perhaps manual control are required.

Human capacity drives business performance
This is Cronquist Consult's leadership logic: human capacity can strengthen the quality of decisions, collaboration and action, thereby supporting strategy execution and results. It is not a claim that Inner Readiness alone automatically causes a particular financial result.

Leadership development grounded in reality
At Christiansen & Essenbæk, leadership development has been delivered through two documented tracks: foundational leadership for hourly paid foremen and technical leads, and advanced leadership for salaried staff and middle managers. The programmes connect action learning, feedback, buddy sparring and one-to-one coaching with participants' own working reality.

Capacity is also something we can pass on
Fremtidens Lederberedskab
The vision behind the project was to help young people develop inner readiness, personal responsibility and the capacity to contribute beyond themselves through practical development, outdoor training and voluntary contribution.
- Approximately DKK 300,000 personally financed by Mads Cronquist.
- Approximately 1,600 unpaid project-management hours.
- Approximately two years of project work.
- Voluntary contribution was a core principle.
Capacity is not only about what we can create for ourselves.
It is also about what we have the capacity to give to others.
Frequently asked questions
- What is Inner Readiness?
- Inner Readiness is the capacity built over time to consciously mobilise your mental, emotional and practical resources when the situation demands it.
- What is the difference between Inner Readiness and a High Performance Pattern?
- Inner Readiness is the capacity. A High Performance Pattern is the personal pattern that shows how you typically mobilise this capacity when you function at your best.
- How do I find my High Performance Pattern?
- Through a Success Analysis of specific situations in which you previously overcame something difficult and achieved a result you were proud of. The focus is particularly on the actions and resources that recurred.
- Can Inner Readiness be trained?
- Yes. Cronquist Consult's approach combines reflection with practical training, repetition and application in real situations.
- What does Inner Readiness have to do with Strategy Execution?
- Strategy has to be translated into action by people. Inner Readiness focuses on the human conditions for maintaining clarity, making decisions and acting when execution meets resistance or unforeseen circumstances.
